Free and unlimited publishing of Open Access articles (hereinafter “OA”) for authors of high-energy physics papers in SCOAP³ journals.

The cost of OA publishing is covered by CERN from the SCOAP³ Common Fund, to which libraries, consortia (including the Czech Republic, where institutional payments are collected by NTK/CzechELib), research institutions and funding agencies from more than 40 countries jointly contribute.

Contract duration: currently until 31 December 2024
 
How does an author publish an Open Access article?
SCOAP3 journals are open to all researchers to publish in them without any obligation and with the understanding that authors retain the copyright of their work. Simply submit your publication to your preferred journal and proceed as usual. Everything else is handled by CERN.

Articles will be published in Open Access mode under a CC-BY license.
