Joint Events

National Library of Technology/CzechELib will be happy to co-organise and host special events prepared by third parties (partner publishers/suppliers etc.)

We look for events that are not primarily commercial, rather such that bring in speakers from various fields and companies (not only publisher representatives) and that offer added value for the attendants, such as:

• introduction of innovations in the presented field,
• presentation of new information,
• opportunities for networking etc.

We always have to examine particular proposal to see if we can participate in the event and under which conditions. We will be happy to discuss this with you.

Also if we are to participate financially, the event has to be open and free of charge.

Do you have a concept that you think would be attractive for CzechELib member institutions and their employees/students or other EIRs users?

Please send answers to some basic questions concerning the event and its production to info@czechelib.cz:

• Do you have an established event conception? please attach or give us a link
• Have you already organised a similar event in the Czech Republic? If yes, when and where was it?
• Who is the target group?
• What do you expect from the event?
• Do you plan to carry all the expenses (speakers, accommodation, venue, catering etc.) or do you expect to split expenses with us? How?
• How big shall the event be – how many people you want to address?
• What will the event bring to CzechELib?
• When would be the best time for you to hold the event?
