How does an author publish an Open Access article?
Before submitting the article, we recommend contacting your library to inquire about the possibility of using tokens. Please note that the number of tokens available to each institution is limited.
The author must select the option to publish the article as OA in the Author Publishing Agreement (APA).
We recommend that libraries confirm or reject the article's eligibility to use a token within five business days of being notified of its receipt.
Eligibility of an article to use a token for free publication in Open Access mode via the Research Dashboard (RD):
The article's eligibility to use a token via the RD will be confirmed once the APA has been signed. (the author signs the APA and selects the OA publication method before confirming eligibility in the RD):

1. You receive an email about the acceptance of an article before it was confirmed in the RD:

2. You will receive an email containing a link to the APA form, which must be completed:












3. You receive an email with confirmation of the request to use a token:

4. The library receives an email requesting confirmation of the eligibility to use a token.

5a. The library confirms the eligibility of the article to use the token:

NOTE: If the library in point 5 rejects the eligibility of the article, you will receive an email about the rejection of the use of a token for free publication and a proposal about other funding possibilities:

5b. You receive an email about the receipt of the article and its eligibility for free publication:

6. The article is published Open Access in the selected title.
